Job summary

SUMMIT Appliance, a division of Felix Storch, Inc., is hiring a Customer Service Representative for our Edison, NJ office. You will handle telephone and email inquiries, assist with orders for merchandise or parts, and support the sales and service departments.

Some overtime may be required, with shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. This role emphasizes professional customer interactions, problem solving, and teamwork in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or some advanced education and equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years customer service or inside sales experience with high call volume and emails.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve issues timely.
• Ability to multitask and plan/workload across multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales and customer service requests via email and telephone.
• Assist customers placing orders for merchandise or parts.
• Enter orders and follow through in the computer system.
• Provide appliance information to customers as requested.
• Communicate with customers and dealers; resolve shipping/delivery issues.
