Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Care Representative to handle a high volume of inbound calls, resolve issues, and advise on products that match customer needs. You will engage customers with active listening and maintain strong relationships with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in customer service or inside sales.
• Authorized to work in the US; environmental/sustainability interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and place calls to understand and address customer needs and issues.
• Explain solutions and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Practice active listening, clarify information and diffuse escalations as needed.
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with customers and teammates.
• Use CRM, scripts, and tools to resolve topics presented by customers.
• Meet or exceed call center metrics while delivering excellent service.
• Identify sales opportunities and make product/service recommendations.
• Participate in training and learn more about the company and offerings.
