Job summary

Astound is seeking a Customer Care Specialist in Texas to handle inbound calls, resolve billing questions, and explain pricing and services clearly. You will guide customers through troubleshooting steps and aim to strengthen relationships with education and upsell opportunities.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment both on the phone and with digital tools. Training is provided with ongoing support and benefit packages.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a customer facing role.
• Sales and/or technical experience preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly.
• Must be proficient in desktop tools, billing software, online tools and information resources.
• Ability to perform basic math, use calculator/Excel, and explain customer bills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve billing questions and concerns.
• Fully understand Astound's products, services and pricing and communicate them to customers.
• Walk customers through troubleshooting steps to resolve equipment and service issues.
• Retain customers through education, negotiation and use of our tools.
• Develop customer relationships and suggest additional products and services.
• Upsell current customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
