Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service at our locations. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect and maintain equipment, and use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage inventories.

This role offers hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to work on a team and help customers effectively.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside centers with products and services.
• Use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers about offerings.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane; forklift certification offered upon employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education.
