Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with their needs. You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals, inspect equipment, and help customers across services at our locations.

Your role includes answering questions, preparing invoices, and teaching customers about products and services, with on-the-job education and opportunities to advance. Weekend shifts preferred in some stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids checks.
• Educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift (certifications offered).
• Engage in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
