Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our exceptional service.

You will assist customers with equipment rentals, inspections, and returns, and use U-Scan technology to dispatch and manage inventory. The role offers on-the-job education, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, ESOP, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certification offered upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
