Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Alsip, Illinois. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers with products and services and coordinating rentals using U-Scan technology. You will move and hook up trucks and trailers, inspect equipment on the lot, and educate customers about our offerings.

Requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect equipment on the lot.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment; install hitches and wiring.
• Assist with fueling propane and forklift operation where applicable.
