Job summary

Chamberlain Group's CPSG affiliate in Charlotte, NC, is a one-stop distributor of access control and perimeter security products for professional dealers and installers nationwide. The role focuses on high-volume order processing, customer communication, and fulfillment support within the branch.

The position requires on-site attendance, CRM usage, forklift operation, and collaboration with branch staff to ensure accurate orders and timely shipments. Benefits and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years customer care in manufacturing or distribution.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills; strong computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy daily telephone contact with customers regarding product information and availability.
• Enter orders into the systems and expedite them per established processes; respond to requests to ensure top service.
• Follow-up with customers on order status and relay shipping information; use CRM to manage cases and reports.
• Perform tasks to ensure safety and quality, maintain a clean work environment.
• Meet and greet will-call customers and ensure orders are completed expeditiously.
• Review dealer web orders for special handling needs due to inventory or shipping instructions.
• Operate forklift and other branch equipment as required.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and work the assigned shift; extra hours as needed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and protect CPSG’s information.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
