Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is seeking a warehouse and branch support professional to assist in achieving sales and profitability goals, manage order processing, and support customer service. This role requires on-site attendance in Chicago, IL and adherence to safety and ERP procedures.

You will handle inventory cycles, coordinate shipments, and help train staff while maintaining high service levels and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• 3 years of customer account management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving branch sales and profitability goals per annual budget.
• Provide customer service and support, enter orders, process orders, RMA and related documentation.
• Manage ERP tasks to ensure accurate shipments and paperwork.
• Perform warehouse and office tasks ensuring safety, quality and service levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via regular cycle counts.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and safety compliance.
• Support in stocking level planning and process improvements.
• Assist in training employees on equipment use and stock handling.

With a personal approach to business, our employees—whether in one of our branches nationwide or at our corporate office—are committed to serving our customers and supplier partners with dedication and expertise.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in achieving branch sales and profitability goals as identified in annual budget; assist in expanding branch’s market share through sales efforts as directed by Branch ManagerProvide customer service and support, order entry and order processing management, return goods authorization and entry, technical service support and walk in customer assistanceManage tasks within CPSG's ERP system to ensure orders are shipped correctly throughout the day; provide accurate documentation and related paperwork necessary for shipments to customers and other CPSG facilitiesPerform all warehouse and office tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety, quality and customer service; report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety riskAssist in ensuring availability to planned stocking levels. Maintains accuracy of inventory counts through a regular cycle count programEnsure a clean safe working environment and adherence to all established company safety rules and regulations including procurement of relevant supplies, such as office equipment, office supplies, janitorial items, warehouse material handling equipment, warehouse supplies and packaging materialsImplement improvements to branch operations to meet customer demands while maintaining customer service levelsCorrect deviations in the process and identify escalation points with Branch ManagerAssist in providing training to employees on methods and use of equipment used in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stockThis position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma/GED5 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment; 3 years experience of customer account managementBasic understanding of Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, or feelAbility to climb or balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to talk or hearPreferred Qualifications: Post High school degree; Certified Automated Gate Systems Designer; Forklift certification Proficiency in SpanishThe pay range for this position is $22.88 - $37.78/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
