Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Banking Associate in Princeton, New Jersey. You will handle everyday banking transactions, provide product guidance, and help customers achieve financial goals with clear, educational advice.

This role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Training will cover teller duties and platform tooling, with opportunities for growth within Personal & Commercial Banking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience working with customers in any capacity or demonstrated through volunteering/education/military.
• Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with concise and clear delivery.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions and educating customers on banking products and services.
• Delivers end-to-end advice: educate, consult, and provide proactive insights and recommendations.
• Uses TD's systems to engage with customers and deepen relationships through guidance and referrals.
• Identify customer financial needs and promote/educate on TD products and services or refer to the appropriate expert.
• Assist with everyday banking transactions on teller lines or platforms and educate customers accordingly.
• Deliver service on teller lines and platform, opening/closing personal deposit accounts and addressing debit/credit card issues.
