Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three months of cash handling, sales or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Cash checks according to bank policies and procedures.
• Accept deposits for checking and savings; verify cash and checks received; determine holds per Regulation CC.
• Accept payments for various types of loans.
• Handle stop payments, revocations, alerts, address changes, check orders, deposit slip orders, transfers.
• Close checking and savings accounts.
• Process night deposits; mail receipts and records.
• Resolve customer problems within scope of authority; sell cashier’s checks.
• Order Debit/ATM cards; notify Hot Card department and file unauthorized usage report.
• Contribute to banking center operations.
• Balance cash and daily transactions and ATM.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (BSA, OFAC, CIP, etc.).
• Prepare change order.
• Assist with opening/closing banking center.
• Support a sales environment; cross-sell bank products and refer customers.
• Adhere to Teller Manual policies and procedures.
• Attend required training sessions.
