Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 1-2 years of customer service, sales and/or cash handling experience.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated aptitude and desire for sales achievement.
• Passion for customer service and helping people.
• Ability, motivation and preference to succeed in a goal-driven environment.
• Superior customer relationship building skills.
• Ability to maintain and balance a cash drawer.
• Comfortable making outreach calls to consumer or business customers and/or prospects.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable with technology i.e., smartphones, iPads, online banking, remote deposit capture, ATM deposits, etc.
• Basic understanding of personal finances and concept of budgeting.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch customer service, analysis, and consultation for all existing and potential customers, while accurately and effectively processing transactions.
• Process transactions for deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, opening and processing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, referrals and inventory of branch items as needed.
• Balance teller drawers, vault, night depository; investigate discrepancies and make corrections as needed.
• Provide efficient and courteous customer service, cross-marketing products, and services to generate new business for the financial institution.
• Prepare, compile, and maintain relevant documentation regarding all bank products/transactions ensuring compliance with all bank policy and procedures and regulatory laws and regulations.
• Performs other duties such as answering calls and assisting other departments when appropriate.
• Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
