Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Account team member to support the program manager and sales team. This role tracks, investigates, and reports project information while resolving issues to keep programs on track.

You will interact with sales, customers, and internal departments, attend meetings, and maintain thorough documentation. A proactive communicator with strong organization will excel here.

Qualifications

• Must communicate proactively with internal staff and customers.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills are required.
• Experience managing multiple projects successfully.
• Experience entering data using diverse computer software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Ability to perform all essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with Sales Production Manager, program managers, sales and other internal staff.
• Serves as contact between sales, customers, and internal departments during absences.
• Attends meetings and performs note taking or action register maintenance as requested.
• Leads meetings with proper agenda, attendees, and action registers.
• Develops and monitors project timelines and costs to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.
• Monitors project cost reporting to track against anticipated margins.
• Initiates and tracks multiple projects through development, production and fulfillment.
• Uses problem solving to achieve sales and customer objectives.
