Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a full-time office assistant to support warehouse operations and customer service. The role includes processing inbound/outbound activity, documentation, and coordination with IT to optimize office systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, strong communication skills, and experience with AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Monday–Friday, morning shift; start time TBD in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Experience with AS400, SAP, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in meeting customer service requirements and build good customer relationships.
Provide administrative support to warehouse operations: inbound/outbound processing, reports, order processing, and documentation.
Monitor inventory control functions: product rotation, recall, claims, reporting, and record keeping.
Assist in training new office employees.
Collaborate with IT to maximize use of office systems and recommend improvements.
Ensure office sanitation, safety, and security in line with company and OSHA standards.
Support department with reporting, sales proposals, accounts payable/receivable, and other office tasks.
Develop relationships across the USCS team to maximize performance.
