Job summary

Aaron’s seeks a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers, drive payments, and renew lease agreements, helping customers move toward ownership of merchandise while ensuring 100% satisfaction.

You will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced store environment with performance-based incentive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States (18 in Canada).
• Requires a valid state driver’s license with satisfactory MVR.
• DOT certification if required by location.
• Able to work 8:00 am–9:00 pm shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on your own and up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
