Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $12.25 - $13.00

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work

  • Maintain and update customer accounts in the store computer system, documenting all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewals.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Ensure merchandise is cleaned and certified in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and meet the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Be able to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
  • Preferably have two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be energetic and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Maintain proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Possess proficient computer skills.
