Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $12.75-$13.50

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

Strong multi-tasking, organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills are essential. The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts and document all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewals.
  • Assist in setting and achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any other duties requested by management.
Requirements
  • United States: at least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and compliance with Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR. Canada: at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT requirements for certification in applicable states.
  • Ability to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
