Job summary

Hutchinson SA is seeking a Customer Service Account Specialist to support Aerospace & Industry customers by processing orders, responding to inquiries, and providing price and delivery information. You will manage RMAs and coordinate with planning and ERP/EDI systems to ensure accurate data and timely fulfillment.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing customer service, strong communication and teamwork, and compliance with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Defense or related industry experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in customer service, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and influence skills via phone, email, written, and face-to-face.
• Applicants must be U.S citizens or permanent residents eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, as required by contract and/or federal law.

Responsibilities

• Act as the customers’ liaison, responsible for all customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing, assuring delivery in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Review customer contracts to ensure order requirements are fulfilled.
• Interface with all functional groups and field sales to proactively monitor customer delivery. Work closely with planners to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide customers with product and pricing information, including the preparation of quotes.
• Maintain accurate information using ERP, EDI, E-Commerce, and other business systems in support of customer service activities.
• Monitor customer websites to obtain supplier scorecard information and product demand.
• Proactively investigate and resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Keep the operations team, Market Managers, and Customer Service Manager informed of issues that may need further assistance for resolution.
• Act as backup for other team members.
• Represent the company at customer visits.
