Showtyme/Affordable Home Furnishings is seeking a Full-Time Customer Account Representative to join a dynamic retail team. The role blends showroom sales with on-site field interactions, guiding customers through the rent-to-own journey and managing accounts and collections daily.

Your day to day as a Customer Account Representative

As a Customer Account Representative at Showtyme/Affordable Home Furnishings, your day begins with the essential task of ensuring the showroom floor is inviting and ready for customers. You'll set up visually appealing showroom displays while assembling new furniture, appliances, and electronics, alongside refurbishing previously rented items. Your primary focus throughout the day revolves around sales and providing exceptional customer service, whether it's assisting customers in-store, reaching out via phone, or loading and unloading trucks for deliveries and returns. You'll also handle service calls, offering guidance to customers regarding their rented merchandise and diagnosing any issues that may arise. In the late afternoon and evening, your role shifts to account management (collections), where you'll contact customers to renew expired rental agreements, utilizing both phone outreach and field visits to maintain strong relationships and customer accounts.

This diverse blend of responsibilities ensures that you play a vital part in the success of our retail management team.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Valid driver's license with good driving record (class D chauffeur's license required in Louisiana and Mississippi)
