Job summary

Airlite Plastics, a premier manufacturer in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Customer Account Specialist who will manage the full order lifecycle, provide internal and external support, and handle invoicing, returns, and credits.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure pricing accuracy, maintain data integrity in our systems, and uphold safety and attendance standards while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of customer support/logistics experience.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Capability to utilize problem solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals.
• Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels.
• Must possess the ability to use sound judgement with strong de-escalation skills.
• Self-motivated and positive.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Uphold and support organizational goals and values.
• Take initiative and asks for help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer support.
• Process orders, quotes, pricing, delivery dates, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with accounting for credit checks and communications.
• Ensure pricing/discounts are applied correctly and as assigned.
• Communicate order status changes with customers and internal teams.
• Support inventory decisions to maintain availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely communication.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and team contribution.
• Apply clear oral and written communication in daily tasks.
• Meet deadlines to support customer and business needs.
• Maintain data integrity in company software systems.
