Job summary

Cornerstone Management Solutions in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business for custom plastic injection molding and related manufacturing solutions. Ideal candidates are true hunters with established OEM relationships and a track record in pursuing RFQs and molding programs.

Travel to customer sites is expected as part of cultivating partnerships across medical, automotive, consumer, electrical, and packaging sectors.

Qualifications

• Custom injection molding or related plastics industry experience.
• Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience selling engineered plastic components and manufacturing solutions.
• Ability to identify new programs and tooling transfer opportunities.
• Comfortable with customer travel and technical sales discussions.

Responsibilities

• Sell custom injection molded contract manufacturing services directly to OEMs.
• Develop new business, pursue RFQs, and create molding programs.
• Build and manage relationships with key accounts in target industries.
