Job summary

Michaels in LI-Commack, NY is seeking a Store Lead to coach a team of framers and deliver high-quality framing solutions. You will guide selling behaviors, help customers create memorable frames, and work with the Store Manager to ensure SOP adherence and program compliance.

The role involves managing workload, inventory, shrink, safety programs, and acting as Manager on Duty. Industry experience in custom framing and retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Previous custom framing experience.
• Preferred: Retail management experience.
• Preferred: Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to focus on building customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors and achieve KPI targets.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality framing solutions on time.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs; participate in Talent Development activities.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interview/on-boarding activities.
