Job summary

Michaels is seeking a capable leader to support store operations and drive performance. The role involves coaching the team, managing daily tasks, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and company programs. You will lead framing services, handle inventory, and maintain a safe, customer-focused environment.

Experience in retail leadership and framing is preferred. This position typically requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet store needs and customer demand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales team.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure execution of policies and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time.
• Manage inventory processes and shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new Team Members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management.
