Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at our Columbus, OH store to help customers find framing solutions and complete framing orders accurately. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, well‑stocked store environment.

Hours include nights, weekends and early mornings; prior retail experience is a plus. This role emphasizes safety, courtesy and teamwork in a busy retail setting with a climate-controlled store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; execute policies and standards.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products and provide solutions.
• Maintain the framing department and ready-made frames; assist with omni-channel processes.
