Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Akron-Cuyahoga, OH is seeking a retail associate to build relationships with customers and help them find custom framing solutions while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-merchandised store.

You will handle POS transactions, stock replenishment, omni-channel processes, and support framing orders with a focus on quality and on-time delivery; weekend and night shifts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Interacts with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remains positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promotes commitment to the organization’s vision and values
