Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and related training or coursework.
• Must obtain Jail Standards Certification and valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
• CJIS/ACIC certification or the ability to obtain them.
• Ability to learn and interpret city/state/federal laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly jail checks and manage prisoners.
• Book in non-violent prisoners, take fingerprints and mugshots, and complete required paperwork.
• Complete incident reports over the phone and from walk-ins.
• Assist officers with prisoner interactions and information requests from the public.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.
