Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a detail-oriented professional to research and monitor financial-account exceptions, including returned wires and overdrafts. You’ll coordinate with internal partners, track items, and lead calls to move issues toward resolution.

Working across multiple systems, you’ll manage various exception types while following department procedures and SLAs, with opportunities to learn different functions through cross-training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to work in office 60% of the work days per week.

Responsibilities

• Research and monitor financial-account exceptions, including returned wires, funds awaiting proper placement, and account overdrafts.
• Coordinate with internal business partners to obtain information and status updates on outstanding items.
• Track open exceptions and provide consistent follow-up through email and calls.
• Set up and lead calls when additional coordination is needed to move an issue toward resolution.
• Support account and asset-level maintenance for WMIS client accounts and products.
• Work across multiple systems, platforms, and exception categories.
• Manage multiple responsibilities concurrently while meeting established deadlines and Service Level Agreements.
• Follow established department policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Participate in cross-training across team functions.
