Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Custody FX & Orders specialist to join the Custody Operations team. You will review client-submitted trade requests for mutual funds, equities and foreign currency, ensuring validation before execution.

This high-risk role requires attention to detail, dual-control checks, and collaboration with internal teams and clients via email. You will work from a U.S. Bank location three days per week in the Cincinnati area.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of custody operational functions and systems.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Customer relations, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of regulatory and accounting principles affecting Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes client-submitted trade requests for mutual funds, equities, and foreign currency.
• Performs dual-control validation (input + secondary verification) to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk.
• Supports pre-execution activities (orders team) and post-execution processing for FX transactions.
• Partners with internal teams and occasionally communicates directly with clients (primarily via email).
