Qualifications

• Handle basic maintenance and janitorial tasks safely.
• Comfortable using cleaning supplies and PPE.
• Able to operate basic cleaning equipment.
• Must be over 21 years old.
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Willing to wear required PPE at all times.

Responsabilités

• General cleaning of the building and upkeep.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Wash walls and clean restrooms, locker rooms, and break rooms.
• Wash dishes in break room and kitchenette.
• Clean spills with appropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and notify supervisor of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash; keep supplies stocked.
• Complete tasks timely with minimal supervision.
• Maintain outer premises, including snow shoveling and power washing.

Job Overview

Custodian (Specialist II) Reports to Maintenance Supervisor

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Nature's Grace and Wellness is seeking a full-time facility custodian. The position will require a variety of cleaning tasks to keeping the building maintained. To work well in this role, the candidate should have basic maintenance knowledge and experience cleaning as well as being self motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Washing walls
• Cleaning and stock restrooms, locker rooms and break room
• Washing dishes in break room and kitchenette
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
• Perform minor repairs
• Notify supervisor of major repairs
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock
• Maintain outer premises, including shoveling snow and simple power washing

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well when supervisors are not present
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment
• Must be over 21
• Must be able to pass a federal background check
• Must be willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
