Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Custodian Lead for the afternoon shift at a Minnesota school. You will assist the Building Supervisor by directing custodians, handling housekeeping and building maintenance, and performing other assigned duties.

Requires a High School diploma and a Minnesota 2nd Class Engineer Boiler License. Training in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical and mechanical fields is preferred. This position offers benefits.

Monday thru Friday - Second Shift

Duties

The duties of this position are to assist the Building Supervisor in directing work of custodians; assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the school building; other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Must have State of Minnesota 2nd Class Engineer Boiler License. Training or experience in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical and mechanical fields. Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

Rate of Pay

$22.35/hour to $23.55/hour based on step and license/position, plus benefits.
