The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Custodian Lead to join the Wisconsin Union – Union South custodian team. The lead worker will assist in training new employees, inspect progress and quality of building services, and perform routine maintenance, cleaning, trash and snow removal under supervision.
Shift hours are 3rd shift, 10pm - 6:30pm (Union South) or 10:30pm - 7pm (Memorial Union), days of week worked will rotate. 40 hours per week.

Custodian Lead
Custodian Lead position is a team member of the Wisconsin Union -Facilities Custodian Team. Lead worker duties that include assisting in training new employees, inspect progress and quality of building services. Basic duties include routine maintenance and cleaning, trash removal, and snow removal. Other duties will be assigned as needed. Work is performed under the guidance of a Custodial Services Supervisor.
-Shift hours are 3rd Shift, 10pm - 6:30pm (Union South) or 10:30pm - 7pm (Memorial Union), days of week worked will rotate. 40 hours per week.

-Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors.
-Applicants may be used for future opening also.
Wisconsin Union – Union South
$18.91 per hour
-Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for night hours worked (6pm-6am).
-Plus an additional $0.80 per hour for weekend hours worked.
-Plus Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal
holidays.
-Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, stoop and climb for the majority of the shift, including
extended periods of continuous physical activities with or without an accommodation.
-Ability to lift and move supplies, equipment and material regularly up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up
to 100 lbs.
-Ability to remove snow and ice outside during cold weather.
Experience working at same position for 3 months or more- Preferred
High School Diploma preferred
