University of Wisconsin—Madison is seeking a 3rd shift Custodian to perform custodial duties in Wisconsin Union buildings, keeping areas safe and sanitary. The role reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and follows safety rules and training requirements.
Duties include cleaning restrooms and dining areas, snow removal, and potential floor maintenance. The schedule is 40 hours weekly, with shifts 10:00pm–6:30am (Union South) or 10:30pm–7:00am (Memorial Union).

This position is responsible for custodial duties in Wisconsin Union buildings on 3rdshift and maintaining these areas in a safe and sanitary condition. This position reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and will work under the guidance of an Assistant Supervisor and/or Custodian Lead. All duties are to be performed in accordance with organizational beliefs and values. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. All established safety rules and regulations must be followed. Will be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills.
Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning and restocking restrooms, common areas, restaurants, commercial kitchens, dining rooms, theaters and snow removal. May also help with carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance and refinishing, and other duties as assigned.
40 hours per week
10:00pm - 6:30am - For hire at Union South Building
10:30pm - 7am - For hire at Memorial Union Building
Days worked and off are on a rotating schedule
$17.51 per hour
+Differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday $.80 per hours is added.
+Differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am an addition $2.50 per hour added.
