Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking friendly, detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to maintain clean common areas and restrooms in properties across San Jose and Mountain View. You’ll ensure tenants, guests, and vendors experience a safe, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with cleaning products and equipment for floors and carpets.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Good verbal communication and written reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and fixtures to sanitize.
• Emptying trash and cleaning windows.
• Ordering supplies and reporting breakages or repairs.
• Assist building management with other duties as needed.
