Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking friendly Janitors and Custodians to service San Jose and Mountain View properties, maintain common areas, clean bathrooms, and ensure a clean, healthy environment for tenants and visitors.

This full-time role requires stamina, ability to lift 50 pounds, teamwork, and clear communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; benefits include medical, dental, vision and a company 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to work in a team or independently as needed.
• Strong verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff and wax floors as needed.
• Dust ceilings, fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Sanitize bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and kitchens.
• Empty trash and wash/dry windows.
• Order cleaning supplies and report breakages/repairs.
• Assist management with projects and other duties.
