Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate equipment and sweeps and cleans floors in classrooms, offices, corridors and other areas.
• Uses custodial equipment such as brooms, mops, vacuums, buffers, and other tools.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; unloads supplies to storage areas.
• Moves furniture and equipment up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Maintains lavatories to a clean and sanitary condition; cleans windows and light fixtures.
• Assists in snow removal and grounds maintenance; responds during emergencies.
