Qualifications

• Minimum ninth grade education required.
• One year of experience in a custodial, mechanical trade or related area, preferred.
• Physically able to perform the essential functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate equipment and sweeps and cleans floors in classrooms, offices, and other areas.
• Uses custodial equipment such as brooms, mops, vacuums, buffers, and other supplies.
• Collects and disposes of trash and debris.
• Maintains lavatories to a clean and sanitary condition.
• Cleans windows, light fixtures, and other high areas as needed.
• Performs lawn and playground maintenance and supports emergency responses.
