Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role includes janitorial duties, hazardous waste handling, and operation of cleaning equipment in a safe environment.

Shifts are Mon–Fri, 7am to 4pm, with pay at $14.50–$15.50 per hour. No heavy lifting beyond 35 pounds. SBM is an equal opportunity employer focused on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Handle hazardous waste including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping, receiving, labeling, cleaning and packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Work in a team with others.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all protocols and company rules.
• Take direction from supervisors.
• Communicate professionally with staff, managers and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages.
• Support shift lead with punch-list items.
• Use personal protective equipment properly.
