Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial duties, hazardous waste handling, and operating cleaning equipment.

You will be part of a team, report hazards to supervision, and uphold safety policies. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, offering a mid-range hourly wage and comprehensive SBM benefits.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; MVR checks may apply.
• Forklift certification may be required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Handle Hazardous Waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship/receive, label, recycle and package hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain daily area upkeep.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and maintain a clean, professional work area.
• Provide customer service and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
