MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, is seeking a full-time custodian for the 2nd shift (Wed-Sun, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm). The role involves routine custodial tasks to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, window washing, restocking supplies, and waste sanitation. The position requires flexibility for events and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms.
• Washes windows and walls, restocks supplies, and sanitizes waste receptacles.
• Ensures buildings and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways and parking lots, are neat and clean.
• Assists with snow removal and sanding may be required.
• Implements technical and safety procedures as instructed by their supervisor.
• Reports observed damages or defects in assigned areas.
• Available to work special events, weekends, overtime, holidays, and festivals when scheduled.
• Performs other duties as assigned using prescribed procedures.
