Job summary

MASS MoCA is accepting applications for a full-time custodian for the 2nd Shift. Hours are Wed-Sun, 3pm-11:30pm.

The role involves cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, window washing, restocking supplies, trash and recycling, and ensuring the exterior areas are neat. Snow removal and safety procedures may be required, with availability for special events, weekends, overtime, holidays, and festivals.

Qualifications

• Performs custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, washing windows and walls, restocking supplies, trash removal and sanitation.
• Maintains neat and clean buildings and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways and parking lots.
• Must be available for special events, weekends, overtime, holidays and festivals when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial tasks as outlined (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms).
• Keep interior and exterior areas neat and clean, including windows, walls and floors.
• Assist with snow removal and spread of sand as required by supervisor.
• Report damages or defects observed in assigned areas.
