Job summary

MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA is seeking a full-time custodian for 2nd shift (Wed-Sun, 3pm-11:30pm). Responsibilities include cleaning, restrooms, floor care, and reporting issues. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events. On-site position with various shifts and weather-related demands.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and custodial experience; teamwork, reliability, and self-motivation are essential. Physical stamina required; PPE may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1+ year custodial experience and overall professionalism.
• Knowledge of cleaning, safety procedures and certifications, methods, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and waste management.
• Keep buildings and grounds neat and clean including sidewalks and parking lots.
• Assist with snow removal and sanding as required.
• Report damages or safety issues to supervisor.
• Be available for events, weekends, overtime, holidays, and festivals.
