Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Cathedral City, CA seeks a reliable Custodian/Maintenance Worker to organize and direct upkeep of Corps buildings, grounds and vehicles, including pickups and deliveries as needed.

You will work under officers, maintain cleanliness, operate cleaning and maintenance equipment, follow safety policies, and support food pantry activities. A valid California driver's license and a clean driving record are required; bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform daily custodial tasks for Corps buildings and grounds.
• Keep closets and supply areas neat and organized.
• Assist with food pantry tasks and donation pickups as needed.
• Maintain and report on vehicles, safety systems, and equipment; drive as required.
• Ensure doors/windows are secured and safety policies are followed.
