Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills and be able to work successfully with team members. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), and can communicate effectively. Good judgment in decision-making, ability to explain work methods and instructions, and willingness to assist in training others are also required.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors, polishing metal/wood, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Following protocols and company policies
• Responding to supervision and taking direction
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding reporting systems and environment safety
• Transporting equipment and supplies, cleaning common areas, assisting with restroom restocking, and performing light cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education
• Ability to read simple words and recognize numbers
• Clear printing and simple communication skills
• Effective communication with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Knowledge of measurements and currency
• Valid driver’s license, proof of registration and insurance if driving
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm
