Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial members with strong customer service skills who can work successfully with other team members. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), and can communicate effectively. Good judgment in decision-making and the ability to explain work methods and instructions are required. May also aid in training others or demonstrating work processes.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycling bins, transporting waste)
• Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Following safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Responding to supervision and taking direction
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
• Transporting equipment and cleaning areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
• Assisting with cleaning in between events, restocking, and general janitorial tasks

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Knowledge of measurements and units
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Shift: Mon-Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
