Base pay range

$17.50/hr - $18.00/hr

SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal custodial members will have strong customer service skills and be able to work successfully with other team members. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), and can communicate effectively. The role requires good judgment in decision-making, the ability to explain work methods and instructions, and may involve training others or demonstrating work processes.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal/wood, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycling bins, transporting waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Following protocols, company procedures, and rules
• Responding to supervision and taking direction
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding reporting systems and environment
• Transporting small equipment, cleaning common areas, assisting with restocking and cleaning bathrooms and other spaces

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience/training, or equivalent
• Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities/differences in words and numbers
• Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
• Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Knowledge of American measures (money, weight, size, length, volume)
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
