Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow! We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial members with strong customer service skills who can work successfully with other team members. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), and communicates effectively. Good judgment in decision-making, ability to explain work methods, and aid in training others are required.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replace bulbs, restock supplies)
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Respond to supervision and take direction
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Transport equipment and clean common areas
• Assist with restroom restocking and cleaning, and other cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education
• Ability to read simple words and communicate effectively
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Knowledge of measurements and currency
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving on duty
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Shift: Sunday through Thursday, with varying hours
