Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:30PM-2:00AM

Pay: $17.25/hr.

**Plus $1.00 shift differential starting at 7PM (after 90 days of employment)

Sanitation Associate – Freezer Environment

Maintain high sanitation standards throughout our freezer and warehouse facilities, following all regulatory and company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitize freezer areas, warehouse floors, stairways, hallways, breakrooms, and office spaces
• Remove ice buildup, debris, and damaged pallets from freezer zones
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum as needed across all areas, including cold storage
• Ensure the grounds are kept clean and free of trash or debris
• Perform general upkeep and basic maintenance throughout the facility, with an emphasis on freezer environments
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are properly maintained and stored, conducting regular inventory checks as needed

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate floor cleaning equipment, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Comfortable working in freezer temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C, wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic warehouse tools
• Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs./9 kg; heavier lifting may be required based on site needs
• Basic math and reading skills; ability to follow instructions in the country’s official language
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely
• Flexible to work varying schedules and shifts, including weekends as needed
• Must be able to work in environments with varying noise levels
