Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal custodial member will have strong customer service skills and work well with others. The CSR should understand and follow explicit instructions (oral and written), communicate effectively, use good judgment, and may need to explain work methods. They may also assist in training others and demonstrate work processes.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal/wood, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycling bins, transporting waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Following safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Responding to supervision and taking direction
• Using personal protective equipment properly
• Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding reporting systems and environment
• Transporting equipment, cleaning common areas, assisting with restroom restocking, and other cleaning duties

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience/training, or equivalent
• Ability to read simple words and recognize numbers
• Clear printing and basic communication skills
• Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Knowledge of measurement units and currency
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Compensation: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm
