Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is seeking a Custodian for The Chicago Theatre to maintain cleanliness and organization across assigned areas.

You will perform daily and event-related cleaning, manage restrooms, and assist with upkeep and safety during shows. The role requires experience in custodial work at entertainment venues, the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely, and the energy to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience in an entertainment venue or large facility.

Responsibilities

• Sweep floors, perform detailed cleaning, clean spills and shampooing.
• Dump garbage and maintain restrooms during events.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and rest of the facility.
• Operate facility equipment of varying sizes and weights.
• Accept deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to MSG appearance and presentation guidelines on-site.

Who are we hiring?
The Custodian will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of theirassigned area throughout The Chicago Theatre. This position will beresponsible for the daily cleanliness of entire area as well as any daily or weeklyspecial cleaning projects on a regular basis.

What will you do?

• The Custodian will maintain facility standards and assist in generalcleaning. Duties included sweeping floors, detail cleaning, cleaning spills,shampooing, dumping garbage, upkeep of restrooms during events andgeneral maintenance of public areas.
• Will be able to handle facility equipment of different size and weights.
• Will receive deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Candidate will ensure that MSG standards are always met and exceeded.
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and teammembers, including by adhering to our appearance and presentationguidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

• The ideal candidate will have custodial experience at an entertainmentvenue or large commercial property.
• Must be proficient at utilizing necessary equipment and safetyrequirements for said equipment.
• A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
• Must possess the ability to work with various operating groups

Special Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
• This position includes heavy lifting of upwards of 70 lbs.

Hourly Pay Range

$17.50 — $17.50 USD
