Job summary

WebstaurantStore in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Custodian for our brand-new 1.2M sq ft distribution center. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across shifts.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. This role supports cleaning, restroom and break room upkeep, and general facilities tasks while collaborating with the operations team to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and office areas regularly.
• Wipe down surfaces and equipment to maintain a dust-free environment.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables per local guidelines.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report hazards or maintenance requests to leadership.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for warehouse events or meetings.

• Monitor and replenish inventory levels of cleaning supplies
• Organize and store cleaning equipment and materials in designated areas
• Assist with setup and cleanup for warehouse events or meetings
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
